This Teac has been serviced including replacing the capstan belt, cleaning and demagnetizing the tape heads. Lubrication of the tape mechanism including both motors.
This Teac has been fully tested recording from our Sirius XM broadcast. The recordings were outstanding quality. It looks like just an average entry level machine but Teac put some mid to high end components inside. MSRP in 1988 was $350.00.
Physical condition is very good with the exception of there is some type of tape or sticker residue on the acrylic tape door that I have yet to fully remove.
