Shipping and Returns


  HiFi Philly is located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Much of our business is local where we provide free local pickup on all items listed. We also will deliver to the Philadelphia Metro area for a nominal charge. Our delivery service will hand deliver your package to you at your location at a pre-determined time that is convenient for you. Contact us for further information about this service. 

  HiFi Philly also ships our products to any of the 48 states of the continental USA. We currently are applying a fixed shipping rate or free shipping to our listings. The actual shipping cost varies due to package size, weight and destination. Our shipping rates are determined by our years of experience packing and shipping a wide variety of products. We use new or like new shipping boxes and packing materials suitable to ensure your purchase arrives in the same condition it was when it was packed. Our current shipping partners are UPS and USPS. In the event that your purchase requires additional insurance we pay that and there is no additional cost to you. Sometimes a signature service will be required for delivery. There is never an additional cost to you for this service.  You will be notified in advance of the delivery that a signature will be required. You will receive a tracking number via email for every item we ship. 

  When your package arrives be sure to check the condition and notify us if the package has been damaged during transportation. We do our best to pack safely but a careless package handler throwing or dropping a box can be an issue. If your item arrives damaged or not working properly please contact us via phone AND email. We will issue you you a RMA number and start the claim process immediatly. Our logistics partner ( Pirate Shipping ) handles our damage claims once it has been opened. They have dedicated teams to handle damage claims and that is why I use them! Claims will be handle quickly and with a positive outcome. 

                                                                                     Handling Times

Many of our products being offer come with a 1 day handling time. The exception being our "Receivers, Turntables, Cassette Decks CD Players and the like." We require a 2 day handling time so your purchase can be retested before being prepaired for shipping. If there is a last minute adjustment then it will be taken care of. We work hard to produce quality products that we hope will give you years of enjoyment. So our machines do come with a 2 day handling.  


   Returns are part of the ecommerce business. Our responsibility starts with packing your purchase with care. We offer a 30 day or more return policy on every item we sell. If a machine has received new parts or extensive work to restore it to it's former glory then a 60 day guarantee on parts and labor will apply. Even if it is not noted in the ad you heard it here. If you are not happy with your purchase then we will take it back and issue you a full refund including original shipping.
